Meet Our Board of Directors

The Educational Communications Board (ECB) is an independent state agency responsible for the planning, development and operation of public broadcasting (Wisconsin Public Radio and PBS Wisconsin, in partnership with the University of Wisconsin-Extension) and educational telecommunications delivery systems.

The ECB is governed by a statutory Board of Directors, created by Chapter 15, Section 15.57 of Wisconsin Statutes, that ensures Wisconsin residents can equitably access telecommunications services and advanced technologies in support of education and public safety goals. Its members represent public and educational interests, as well as the executive and legislative branches of state government.
