ECB is a state agency that delivers educational, noncommercial, and public safety media via Wisconsin Public Radio and PBS Wisconsin. ECB is seeking a Broadcast Engineer (Media Telecommunications Technician) at entry or senior level (depending on qualifications) for our Field Engineering Team.

Broadcast Engineers are responsible for a wide variety of duties, including maintaining, testing, and repairing broadcast systems; monitoring electronic systems status; and performing routine preventive maintenance and services for our regional sites in Northwest Wisconsin.

Master Control Operator

Full time (40 hrs/week)

ECB is seeking a staff member for our Operations Center. This position is charged with acquisition, preparation, playout and monitoring of public television content that enriches and entertains viewers across Wisconsin. Based at ECB’s headquarters in Madison and operating under limited supervision of the Operations Center Manager, this position will progress from basic to complex skill proficiency in all three functional areas of operations tasks: Master Control, Media Prep and Transmission Control. The incumbent will participate in training, process development, and refinement exercises as required. The incumbent will serve as a consultant to internal and cross-departmental clients.
